Finding MLA Citations in Databases

- Click on the “Cite” link on the right hand side of the screen while looking at the article.
- Select and copy the MLA Citation.

Copying MLA Citations into NoodleTools
To create a new entry in your
bibliography, first you must
“Select a citation type” and
choose “Database”
NoodleTools will then ask
what kind of resource you are
using. To make things simple,
just choose “Journal"
When you get to the “Citing”
page, click the link under the
word “Article” that says “Copy
& paste a citation”
When you click on the “Copy
& paste a citation” link, it will
open a new window. Scroll
down a little until you see a
box that says “Manuallyedited citation” above it.
Paste the citation you copied
from your source into this
box.
Download
