My grandma had somewhat of an exciting life she was born in Cantabria, Michoacán Mexico in October the 19th 1943. She remembers playing with the kids in her street and playing different games. She lived in a poor neighborhood but in a big house because over there the houses are made of adobe with many chickens’ roosters and cows and pigs and many different types of animals like a canary and macaw and many different types of birds. Their parents were good their names were Fernando Lopez Chepita Lopez, my great grandpa died before I was born he died in 1988 but my grandma lived to a ripe old age of 103 she was born in 1903 and my great grandpa was born 1900.my grandma had 2 brothers that passed away when they were born because of weak immune system and she has 1 brother my tio checke and 1 sister. My grandma’s dad worked in the fields and in many factories and my grandmas mom was a house wife. My grandma didn’t go to school because back then people didn’t go to school that much and in the house they needed more help. When the holidays came it was the same in Christmas they would get a present or two and then they would celebrate the same holidays as they do in Mexico. Some games they did for fun was a game named “Las Calabasa” that means the pumpkins it would be like a tag game and then she would also gamble with the other girls playing marbles. My grandma would eat soup, pork, tacos, beans, tamales, chicken and a lot of other stuff. Most of the girls there would wear dresses and skirts and sometimes jeans. My grandma worked at a small age around the household. She never worked or had a real car but my grandpa ha a motorcycle and was part of a cycle gang. My grandpa also has a tattoo of an angel. When my grandma first left home she moved almost lif a block away form my grandma because that was the house that was cheapest. Then at a party my grandma met my grandpa and they hit it right away they were together 3 month then they got married. My grandma had 7 children 4 men 3 women my dad was the first and my uncle was the second they were the most successful children and then the last was my Tia duvia. my grandma has her most memorable memories of going to the beaches here are some playa Azul Alcapulco Lazaro Argengrade cuyo plan. She also like going to the circus with the animals and all the stunts they have done. She swam in the sea a lot and was also good at fishing. The national event that she remembers the most is was and a disater she remembers is a really bad earth quake. My grandma has been married 49 years and her annivesy is august 6th. And she is very happy that all of her grand children and all of her children are happy living in the usa and having a good life and changing it here so we can have a better life. My grandpa worked all his life just to keep us good. He has many interesting stories like one time he was walking home from working and all of the dogs were barking and barking and then all of a sudden they all stopped then a big dog that jumped off his hind legs jumped on my grandpa and he fought it off the when he go home he told my grandma about it but she couldn’t believe it then about a week later my aunts had a room upstairs they drew a picture they got in trouble and had to paint over it they did but when they came back up in a hour the picture came back so they painted over it again then at night the paint came back and they painted and painted over it again then the next day the paint came back. My grandpa would always tell good stories that are folklore or fake but the first two I wrote about are true now these are some of the stories my grandma and my grandpa have told me. Like one time my great grandpa was walking home from work and he saw something sitting down like a person but in a fetal position he asked it if it was ok it looked at it and didn’t say anything so my great grandpa left by the time he got home the thing was at his door he got out his gun and shot it it ran away. Then one time he came back from work he set his boot to the side and he heard stomping but he ignored it the next day his boots came muddy and 20 pesos were by them. the next story is kind of weird this is one my grandma told me, one time these two boys were at a place that was torn down so they went in it they found a little doll so they decided to burn it they were watching it burn then all of a sudden it stands up then it sit backs down they went running home. Then this was the story that would always scare me the most, my uncle Checke and my grandpa were in a big argument and they were away from home so had to sleep in the same bed like in the middle of the night my uncle tells my grandpa to move his hairy arm and that stinks my grandpa tells my uncle that same thing so they were arguing then all of a sudden they turned around and they saw a hairy arm they screamed and ran and then there was another story that my dad and my uncle were about to go to sleep they slept in the same bed like at 2 in the morning they woke up all of a sudden they look at the end of the bed and saw horns they went under the cover then they say this creatures head that is had big horns and red eyes they ran to my grandmas room. These are some on the stories and memories I will remember of my grandma grandpa great grandma and great grandpa
