Using Differentiated Instruction to Support all Learners

Think about the differentiation required in your own classrooms, both here at SRVHS and at
your internship schools.
o General Education students
o Resources students – those with learning disabilities that prevent them from learning
easily
o GATE – Gifted and Talented Students
o ELL – English Language Learners
o Students that learn best through listening, seeing, touching
Define Differentiated Instruction. Give an example you have observed in your
classroom here at SRVHS or at the elementary school you Intern at.
This should be a three paragraph essay, using MLA format and a
Works Cited page that lists resources.
This essay is due to me by Tuesday, January 19 at the end of the period.
Your completed essay needs to be submitted to Turn It In.
