Poster Book Report
You are going to create a 2 part poster for the novel you read using the given criteria.
You may choose one of the following methods to create your poster (please choose the one you know best how
to use): 1) Flip chart
2) Powerpoint
3) Word document
On the first page/ slide you must have the title, author, one sentence plot summary, and picture(s)/
graphics that represent the story Note: you may NOT use a picture of the book; you must create the poster!!
There should be NO white showing and all words must be readable.
On the second page/ slide, you will need to write the following and fill in the answers:
Title
Characters (list at least 2) and write a 1 sentence description as to the role in the story (for example, tell if it
was the protagonist or antagonist and describe the personality, age, etc)
Conflict tell the main conflict, or of any conflict in the story (note: all novels include a conflict)
Resolution how was the conflict resolved
Summary your summary should be very brief, no less than 5 sentences and no more than 8. Do not put a lot of
detail!

* There should be no moving images or animations included (it is a poster)

No computer directions are exactly the same except that you will use 2 sheets of paper (see me for blank paper
for page 1 and use LOOSE LEAF for page 2) You will need crayons for page 1; there may be no white paper
showing and all words MUST be readable. All written on page 2 must be in blue or black ink.
