Knights’ Résumés - Read and review the backgrounds and adventures of various knights. Using this knowledge, you will have to create professional résumés for the 3 knights they consider King Arthur's Top Knights. Students will create résumés that are clear and purposeful, and address the intended audience appropriately and follow the conventional style for résumés and use page formats, fonts, and spacing that contribute to the documents' readability and impact. See textbook for example. 3. Painting/Art using symbolism – If you select this you must be an accomplished artist. Using any medium, no larger that 18” x 18”, you may create an original piece of art integrating 4 symbols found in the legends we have read. You must also write 1 paragraph about each symbol. The paragraph will include explanation of the symbol you chose including text evidence and proper citation. 5. Coat of Arms Your shield must be made of ½ of a poster board (DO NOT ROLL IT UP). You should divide your shield into a minimum of 3 sections. See samples below: Think of qualities or characteristics representative of you to symbolically place in each section of your shield. o Use colors, symbols and animals to represent these qualities/characteristics. Every item on your shield should tell us about you. Somewhere on your shield you must include your last name. Since the shield will be displayed in the classroom and possibly on our web site, it should be as colorful and attractive as you can make it. Finally, you must include a written explanation of your shield. o Explain what the colors you have chosen represent and the animals/symbols you have included. For example, a lion of strength or purple for royalty. http://www.fleurdelis.com/coatofarms.htm http://www.fleurdelis.com/meanings.htm http://www.makeyourcoatofarms.com/ 6.
