United States History I Research Paper Mr. DiLuzio C1-D As part of our study of United States history, each of you will complete a research paper on one figure pertaining to our course of study. A list of acceptable people will be circulated. From this list you must have a first, second and third selection. Only one person per class may do their paper on any one figure or event. Selections will be recorded based upon a first come/first serve basis. The requirements of the paper are as follows: Cover page including paper’s title, student’s name, teacher, period, date of submission 3 to 4 typed, double spaced, 12 point Times New Roman font Paper will begin with a clear thesis statement Clear and accurate background information about figure Facts/details that support your thesis statement (show the significance of your figure) in a series of body paragraphs. 6.
