Orientation Morning
School of Nursing and Midwifery
All prospective students who receive a conditional offer of a place on the
BSc (Hons) in Nursing Studies Programme (Learning Disabilities or Mental
Health Pathway) will be invited to an Orientation Morning in early August.
We have organised the Orientation Morning for you to help ease the
transition into your chosen university programme. We believe this event will
give you a practical insight into university life as you will see the areas where
your study and learning will take place. You will meet some of the faculty
members, current students and registry staff, and you will have the
opportunity to seek further information on the programme or ask questions on
any aspect of the course.
Throughout the morning you will experience our supportive learning
environment with its close faculty interaction, designed to prepare you for
success in the nursing profession. We will also outline post-graduate
progression options for you.
The School of Nursing and Midwifery is committed to making a significant
