Michael Parks
DATE OF BIRTH: April 4th, 1938
PLACE OF BIRTH: Corona, California, USA
Spouse: Carolyn (1969-?) 2 stepchildren
? (1955-?) (divorced) 1 daughter
Jan Moriarty (1964-1964) (her death)
Handsome, brooding lead (and, more recently, lead heavy) of minor action films, very
much in the James Dean mold, best known for his starring stint in the 1969-70 TV series
"Then Came Bronson." Parks made his film debut as the star of the arty road movie The
Wild Seed (1965), and the following year played Adam in John Huston's abysmal
0060164 The Bible (1966)-not exactly a great career-booster. Other starring films from
this period include 0058998 Bus Riley's Back in Town (1965), 0060533 The Idol (1966),
and 0061748 The Happening (1967). He went into professional eclipse in the years
immediately following "Bronson," and appearances in sundry low-budget vehicles, like
0076710 Sidewinder 1, 0076567 The Private Files of J. Edgar Hoover (both 1977), and
0079128 The Evictors (1979), failed to advance his career. Parks did experience an
upturn in 1990 when he appeared as an enigmatic bad guy on David Lynch's cult TV
series "Twin Peaks." In the 1991 shoot 'em up 0102045 The Hitman Parks played the
villain to Chuck Norris' hero. He also appeared in 0105077 Over the Line (1994).
·
Lived on a Yacht in the Monterey, Ca. harbor in the early 1980's
·
His song, "Long Lonesome Highway," (the Jimmi Hendrix theme from "Then Came
Bronson") hit #20 on the U.S. charts in April of 1970.
·
The theme song "Long Lonesome Highway" from Parks' TV series "Then came
Bronson" was penned by James Hendricks, a Greenwich Village folky who was married
to "Mama" Cass Elliot of the Mamas and the Papas, not by Jimi Hendrix.

Frank Silva
DATE OF BIRTH: October 31st, 1949
PLACE OF BIRTH: Sacramento, California, USA
DOD: September 13th, 1995
POD: Seattle, Washington, USA
A native of central California, Frank Silva majored in theater at San Francisco State
University where he receved a master's degree in light design. He worked with director
David Lynch on several of his movies (Dune, Blue Velvet, Wild at Heart) as a prop
master and set decorator. While Silva was working on fixing up the set for the character
Laura Palmer's bedroom in the pilot episode for Twin Peaks, Lynch decided that Silva
should be Bob after accidently filming him in a reflection in a mirror which this longhaired, prematurely gray man gave Lynch himself a jolt because of his sudden frightening
appearance.

Jimmy Scott
Birth Name: James Victor Scott
DATE OF BIRTH: July 17th, 1925
PLACE OF BIRTH: Cleveland, Ohio, USA
Often called "Little Jimmy Scott", he was one of ten siblings born to Arthur and Justine
Scott. All ten sang in church with their musician mother. Both Jimmy and his brother
Kenny suddenly stopped growing while in their early teens. It was later discovered that
they both suffered from a rare and inherited condition known as Kallmann's Syndrome
which causes hormone imbalances that render its sufferers into a perpetual state of prepuberty. Because Scott refused treatment out of fear that he might damage his voice, he
has remained a vocalist widely known for his boyish soprano. One of his first recordings
was "I Wish I Knew" in 1949, a song he later re-recorded with Jazz vibraphonist Lionel
Hampton. Later he recorded and performed with the Paul Gayten Band. By 1963 he
recorded a critically acclaimed album called "Falling in Love is Wonderful" produced by
the legendary Ray Charles. Unfortunately, the album was pulled from record store
shelves and radio stations due to a contractual obligation to Savoy Records, his former
label. The litigation claimed Scott was legally bound to record exclusively for Savoy
Records. Subsequently, his career suffered and for several years he did not perform at all,
making a living working in a shipping room at a Cleveland Sheraton Hotel. It would not
be until 1971 when he would enjoy a return to the music scene with the album "All the
Way" for Sire Records. Seymour Stein of Sire had the good fortune of hearing Scott's
emotion-filled vocals at a funeral for Doc Pomus, a man that had severely and publicly
criticized record companies that mismanaged Scott's career. Stein signed Scott to a longterm recording contract immediately. As a vocalist, Scott is noted for an androgynous
voice, impeccable phrasing, and unbelievably slow and emotional tempos that have
influenced recording artists as diverse as Frankie Valli, Mikki Howard, and Nancy
Wilson. (One listen to "Little Jimmy" and you'll understand where Nancy Wilson gets
much of her unique phrasing.) While his voice today has lost some of its original luster
due to the ravages of time and age, he is currently enjoying resurgence in popularity that
all who hear him agree is long overdue. All would additionally agree that his decision to
forego treatment for Kallmann's Syndrome was a blessing for us all.

Royal Dano
DATE OF BIRTH: November 16th, 1922
PLACE OF BIRTH: New York, New York, USA
DOD: May 15th, 1994
POD: Los Angeles, California, USA
·
Died in 1994 of a heart attack after a car accident. He was 71.
·
Dano provided the voice for Abraham Lincoln in Walt Disney's Hall of Presidents
in both Disneyland and Disney World. Dano provided the voice for the first Presidents
exhibit at the World's Fair 1960. His voice is still used today.
·
Provided the voice of Disney's audioanimatronic Abraham Lincoln in "Great
Moments with Mister Lincoln," presented as part of the State of Illinois pavillion during
the 1964-65 New York World's Fair.
You'd never peg this big, roughhewn character actor for a native New Yorker based on
the roles he's played in movies. Beginning with 1950's 0043087 Undercover Girl Dano
worked in dozens of movies, almost always playing Western heavies or menacing rural
types. He enjoyed some parts outside the outdoor-action arena, appearing in 0049513
Moby Dick (1956), 0055047 King of Kings (1961, as Peter), 0071216 Big Bad Mama
(1974), 0086197 The Right Stuff (1983), and 0088242 Teachers (1984). Later he became
a staple of lowbudget genre efforts, of which 1988's 0095444 Killer Klowns From Outer
Space and 1990's 0100666 Spaced Invaders are, sadly, all too typical. In his last years,
Dano eschewed most of the sinister parts and played crotchety old-timers.

Claire Stansfield
DATE OF BIRTH: August 27th, ?
PLACE OF BIRTH: London, England, UK
Height: 6’ 1”
Claire was born in London, England. Her father is English and her mother is German.
They moved to Canada when she was very young so even though she has a British
passport she considers herself a Canadian. She went to school in Toronto and grew up
around the High Park area. She worked as a model in her teens but was not really that
good at it. She did some runway shows (as she was already 6ft tall at 16), a bit of
magazine work and some commercials. Claire has done a lot of traveling. Her mother is a
flight attendant for Air Canada and she has had many cheap airline tickets thrown her
way. She speaks German and spent most of her summers in a town outside of Cologne in
Germany (with her beloved grandmother Kai), after whom she named her production
company, Kai Productions. She settled down for two years back in London in the 80s
(going back to her roots apparently) and enrolled at London's Central School of Drama.
When her studies were finished and her parents cut off her cash, she followed her father
to California and decided to try her luck in Hollywood.
Her mother now lives in Vancouver, B.C., and always comes with her on location. She's
very proud and has finally learned not to shout across the set (to tell Claire to stand up
straight) in the middle of a take. Claire is in her thirties now and likes to take time to
remember and appreciate the things she has to be grateful for. She is extremely grateful
that her family is healthy and that they all get along. She has a dog named Dino, adopted
from "Pet Orphans" in LA. Dino and Claire have been together for 7 years now.

Hank Worden
Birth Name: Norton Earl Worden
Date of Birth: July 23rd, 1901
Place of Birth: Rolfe, Iowa, USA
DOD: December 6th, 1992
POD: Los Angeles, California, USA (natural causes)
Spouse: Louise (1940-1977) (widowed)
Sometimes credited as: Worden Norton, Heber Snow, Henry Snow


Often erroneously credited as the coach/manager/cornerman in the boxing
flashback in Quiet Man, The (1952), but according to Worden himself it is
actually another actor of vaguely similar appearance.
Worked on several Tex Ritter Westerns billed as Heber Snow because the
producer felt that a Mormon-like name such as Heber Snow would help the films
do better business in heavily-Mormon areas such as Utah.
Raised on a cattle ranch in Montana. Educated at Stanford and the University of Nevada
as an engineer. Washed out as an Army pilot. Toured the country in rodeos as a saddle
bronc rider. Broke his neck in a horsefall in his 20s, but didn't know it until his 40s.
Chosen along with play "Green Grow the Lilacs", the play from which the musical
"Oklahoma" was later derived. Drove a cab in New York, then worked on dude ranches
as a wrangler and as a guide on the Bright Angel trail of the Grand Canyon. Survived by
adopted daughter Dawn Henry.
