Tribal Project

Topic:
You are to select any tribe from the following regions: Africa, North
America, South America, or Asia. You will be researching the culture of the
tribe. You report should include the following aspects of the tribe’s culture:
social structure, economy, government, religion, language, occupations, basic
beliefs and customs.

Written Report:
You need to write a 2-4 page report on the tribe you selected. Your report
should be typed on a computer, size 12 font in blue or black ink.
Bibliography:
You need at least three sources on your tribe. Please follow the correct
format for bibliographies.
Visual Report:
For this report you have to make a poster presentation which should include
pictures that reflect your tribe. Be sure to label your poster. Your poster
should be 11 x 17. We will be creating class totem poles out of your poster.
Oral Report:
As usual you will be reporting your topic to the class. You need to include a
handout for your classmates. Once again, be creative and try to make your
oral report interesting and fun!!
