For 10 points extra credit, write a 1-2 page essay based on the documentary film “The Power of
the Sun.” Your essay must address the following questions:
(1) How does solar power currently impact your life?
(2) What are the advantages, if any, of solar power compared to power generated from
fossil fuels?
(3) What are the disadvantages, if any, of solar power compared to power generated
from fossil fuels?
(4) What needs to happen for solar power to fulfill more of the world’s energy
requirements?
Essays must be typed to receive full credit.
