It should be written at a college level and show detailed evidence of thoughtful reflection on the classroom presentation. Papers not meeting all of these requirements will be returned to you and you will receive no credit. Returned papers may not be rewritten. These papers will be graded on a pass/fail basis. You will need four “P”s (pass) on reaction papers to accrue 40 points. You may submit as many reaction papers as you want until you have received your four “Ps”. You may not write papers about the last two speakers. If you do not submit your papers “in sequence” there is a 10 point penalty which will be subtracted for your overall grade total. For each question, type the question, including the number of the question, and underline it. Then type your answer. 1. What was your personal reaction (emotional and thoughts) about what the speaker had to say. 2. What did you learn from this speaker that you didn’t know before the presentation? 3. What issues/questions do you still have after listening to the speaker? 4. Relate at least three specific terms/concepts, (typed out directly as written on the study guide and underlined) from the class study guides to the speaker’s content. You may use any study guides you have received throughout the semester. You may NOT use terms that are not on the study guides. Specifically relate the term you have chosen, typed and underlined, to the content of the speaker’s presentation. If the numbered concept has multiple terms, you must address all of the terms in your answer for credit, unless you are discussing reproductive anatomy, then each part is considered a separate term/concept. For this question, just type “Relate at least three specific terms/concepts” *see example below As an example of how to use terms/concepts in your paper, the first speaker, Gaby, will talk about her uterus. In writing about this you would type: Uterus: In her presentation Gaby talked about how her uterus caused her pain and she ended up having a hysterectomy. This would be one of your three required concepts. YOU CAN NOT USE the word, Uterus, in your paper about Gaby, since that is the example used here. 4A. Do not use the same terms on different papers for different speakers. 4B If you are closely emotionally connected to another person in the class, you must use different terms on your papers. 5.
