Then, type up a 5 paragraph essay analyzing the connections between the movie and the literature – similarities, differences, things you observed, etc. You must use literary elements to talk about similarities/differences such as theme, characters, setting, etc. You must include specific details from the unit and movie to support your thesis statement. So, if you have a B- percentage at the end of semester, and you do a solid job on the essay, then your overall grade would go to the lowest B percentage. However, the overall amount is tied to the quality of the uploaded essay. If this assignment falls short in expectations and follow through, it will be worth less overall, and potentially not raise your grade a ½ grade. As well, if you have a low D (60-63%), then the most you could gain would be a higher D. However, if you have a high D (64-66%), you could bump up to a D+ potentially.
