Dear Parishioners,
Father Sean and I look forward to celebrating with you the liturgies of Holy
Week and Easter and we thank you in anticipation of your prayerful
attendance at the Holy Week ceremonies.
Please take the opportunity to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation this
week. We have a Penance Service on Wednesday at 7.00pm. and Father
Sebastian will help with Confessions. Please remember a prayer for our Year
3 pupils who will celebrate their First Reconciliation (Confession) on Tuesday
at 2.00pm.
We have both enjoyed very much our visits to St.Augustine’s School and the
visits of the children to Church for Mass on Wednesday mornings.
Please remember a prayer for Mr.Alan Pearce who will be received into Full
Communion and be Confirmed at the Easter Vigil.
We have our final Lenten CAFOD Lunch this Saturday and we would like to
thank everyone for your generous support of this Lenten activity. We are very
grateful to Mrs Annette Kelly and to all the volunteers and to those who
tasted the delights of our lunches. We will let you know the final amount
raised in due course.
There are only 3 places available for the Parish pilgrimage to Medjugorje
from May 17th to May 24th. The price is £430:00 for further details please
