Section 1-Greek Theater

8. List and explain the limitations of Greek theater.
Section 2-Oedipus Myth
1. Using complete sentences, explain the entire Oedipus Myth.
2. Define myth.
3. Draw the family tree of Oedipus.
4. Explain the meaning of a prophecy.
Section 3-Antigone
1. Define tragedy, parados, protagonist, and antagonist.
2. Who is the protagonist in the play?
3. Who is the antagonist in the play?
4. Create an individual bubble map for each of the following characters: Antigone,
Ismene, Creon, Haemon, Eurydice, and Teiresias. Your frame question should be: What
do I know about the character (place characters name here)? Your frame of reference
question should be: Where did I get my information? Make sure each bubble map has a
frame.
