Richard Layard delivered the Lionel Robbins Memorial Lectures, at LSE on 3rd,
4th and 5th March 2003, titled:
Happiness: Has Social Science A Clue?
These lectures were later reproduced as a book – Happiness: Lessons from a
new science. We discussed this book, and the topic it addresses, in the last
