As we near the end of Lord of the Flies , we have become familiar with the various characters portrayed within the novel. For this assignment you will be investigating the characters and revealing their prominent traits.
Purpose: to reveal how we learn about characters in literature.
Process:

Pick three of the main characters in the novel

For each of these characters
1.
List the character’s name
2. Find and write at least 4 quotes from the novel that reveals something about each character. You must include the page number. The quotes must be from the beginning, middle and end of the novel.
3. Write/explain what each quote tells you about the character
 Choose one character and write a paragraph explaining how this person’s personality traits evolved from the beginning to the end of the book.
Marks:
Each character x 4 quotes and an explanation = 10 marks
Four characters = 30 marks
Well written paragraph with reference to the novel = 10 marks
Total marks for character analysis = 40 marks
