Students will understand, display and assess the many ways a person can manage their impulsivity. Students produce, in print and electronic forms, a variety of texts for different purposes using structures and features of language appropriate to the purpose, audience and context of the writing. They begin to use simple figurative language and visual images. They employ a variety of strategies for writing, including note-making, using models, planning, editing and proofreading. Teen magazine is very interested in this and has asked your class to write a series of feature articles that will also appear in the school newsletter about these characteristics. Eg each article should be about a characteristic and give examples of how people use them to become successful.
