For each letter of the alphabet, there must be a character analysis, symbol analysis, theme analysis or an idea (archetype/criticism) analysis that corresponds to the letter. Each letter must be one word or a short phrase. (ex. Z is for Zonked out by Kate’s medicine), It must be followed with a one to three sentence (maximum!) explanation. It must have a corresponding illustration or image. It must be made using either googledocs presentation, windows movie maker, or prezi so that it can be presented to the class. Your project must reveal your group’s understanding not only of the plot of East of Eden, but also your understanding of the nuances of character, important symbols, overarching themes, and other ideas relevant to the novel. Ideally, it will reveal a blend of all of these.
