The Mini-Research Paper
Requirements:
Write an enthymeme about your major. Provide evidence to back it up.
3 – 5 pages long.
3 – 5 sources, one source must be an interview.
You must follow the MLA format.
This topic is the basis for your oral presentation.
Use the first person point of view.
Feedback:
Peers will review the rough draft of your mini-research paper.
You will submit a final version of that essay for a grade.
That final version of the essay will be graded by the professor.
You will present 2 outlines based on that essay as your oral presentation.
Your peers will provide you with feedback on those outlines.
You should incorporate all of this feedback into expanding and revising your miniresearch paper into the final research paper due at the final exam. That essay must be 5 –
7 pages long, with 5 – 7 sources.
