2015 Student of Integrity Scholarship - $1,000 – February 13, 2015

Eligibility:

Complete an essay: What Better Business Bureau Programs and Services strengthen ethics/integrity for
your generation?

Submit an official transcript.

One page letter explaining your leadership skills and community activities or service.

The Senator David Shafer Scholarship Essay Contest - $1,500 – February 27, 2015

Eligibility:

Write an 800 word or fewer essay about a person in American History who exemplified one or more of the
character traits listed on the above website.

Buick Achievers Scholarship Program - $2,000 to $25,000 per year – Deadline: February 27, 2015

Eligibility:

Current high school senior and current undergraduates who plan to enroll full time at a four-year college or
university in 2015-2016

Plan to major in a field of study that focuses on engineering, technology, design or business, with an interest
in the automotive industry.

Georgia Military Scholarship - $70,000 – March 1, 2015

Eligibility:

Be a GA resident and receive a nomination from a state assemblyman

Meet the academic requirements for, and gain regular admission, to UNG

Meet Army National Guard medical and physical standards

Agree to serve as an enlisted member in the Georgia Army National Guard while a Cadet at UNG.

Agree to accept a commission upon graduation from UNG and serve four years as a commissioned officer in
the Georgia Army National Guard.

Georgia Business Aviation Association & Foundation Scholarships - $2,000 - $5,000 – Deadline: March 1, 2015

Eligibility:

Be a Georgia high school student.

Be enrolled as a full-time student or be accepted as a full-time student into an accredited/ FFA approved
college program pursuing an aviation-related certificate or undergraduate or graduate degree in the fields
of flight technology, aviation maintenance technology, aviation operations, aviation management, or
aeronautical engineering.

Have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or better

Northeast Georgia Superintendent’s Scholarship – Deadline: March 5, 2015 – minimum of $500 – Applications are
in the front office
Eligibility:

Must be accepted to a college and begin college in the Fall of 2015

Be an active leader in your school and community

Complete 3 short answer questions.
7.
The Gail Ingram Scholarship – Deadline: March 5, 2015 – Amount: $1,000
Applications are available in the counseling office
Eligibility:

Be a graduating high school senior who is planning to attend a Georgia public college or university in the fall
as a full-time student.

Preference will be given to those wishing to pursue a degree in education.

Minimum 3.0 GPA, proven academic success, and demonstrated financial need

These requirements can be waived for any student in Foster Care who the scholarship committee believes
has the potential to be successful in college studies.

American Fire Sprinkler Association Scholarship – Up to $1,500 – Deadline: March 10, 2015

Eligibility:

A high school senior planning to attend college or a certified trade school in the fall 2015.

Write a 700 – 1,000 word essay on: What are the pros and cons of requiring fire sprinklers to be installed in
all new single family housing constructed in the state of Georgia?

Complete the registration page with all requested information.

Constitutional Officer’s Association of Georgia Scholarship - $1,500 – Deadline: April 1, 2015

Eligibility:

Any Georgia high school senior who is a US and Georgia citizen graduating by the spring of 2015.

You must be seeking a college degree in a field related to government/law enforcement, political science,
accounting/finance, business, or pre-law
10. 2015 QDMA College Scholarship - $500 – Deadline: April 1, 2015

Eligibility:

A basic knowledge of Quality Deer Management Association and its principles

Acceptance to a degree granting institution

Preference will be given to students studying the Environmental and Agricultural sciences as well as those
pursuing degrees in Wildlife Biology and Wildlife Law enforcement. However, all majors are encouraged to
apply if they are able to present how their chosen field will positively impact Quality Deer Management.
11. Millar & Mixon, LLC first annual Dangers of Underage Drinking Public Service Announcement Scholarship Contest $2,000 – Deadline: April 1, 2015

Eligibility:

Create an original 30-second video to encourage high school seniors and college
freshmen in GA to warn their fellow students about the dangers of underage drinking

Submit the video and completed application to scholarship@millarandmixon.com by



when sharing.
12. Virtual Business Scholarship - $2,000 – Deadline: April 1, 2015


Currently enrolled in a business, marketing, and/or finance class as a junior or senior in high school.
