CHICAGO — pH Productions is ready to unleash its third full length musical, the first to be performed at its brand new home, The pH Comedy Theater!! From the team that brought you 2010’s sleeper hit, The Breakfast Club Musical, pH is proud to present The Room: The Musical. The Room: The Musical is a loving parody of perhaps the worst film ever made. A cult classic in many major cities, The Room (the movie) has mesmerized audiences since 2003 with its unintentional bizarreness. Theatergoers leave each screening wondering what they just saw, and return again and again to try and figure it out. The Room: The Musical promises to deliver that same surreal experience - with singing and dancing! The melodramatic story of a strange love triangle and the ramifications of friendship and treachery, The Room: The Musical is an absurd musical comedy that will leave you puzzled yet richly satisfied. The Room: The Musical is meant for mature audiences and will be performed every Saturday at 9:30pm at the brand new pH Comedy Theater, 1515 W. Berwyn in Andersonville. Book and Lyrics by Jason Geis, Drew Kordik and Brad Kemp. Music by Brad Kemp. Choreography by Michelle Marquardt. Set Design by Amy Couey. Tickets will be sold at the door or online.
