When graphing square root functions, first you must identify the domain of the function.
Then plug the function into your calculator to find your table of values. Plot the points from your table.
Make sure you make it a curve, not a straight line. Only put an arrow on the appropriate side of the function. Examples: 1. Graph:

When graphing cube root functions, you need to make sure you get the curve. Similar to quadratics. Find the x value for when y = 0. (In other words, find the x­intecept)
This should be the middle of your table. Like quadratics, then pick 3 points above and 3 points below. Plot the points.
Put arrows on each end of the graph.
