Project 1 has the students work in small teams to design a puzzle cube. One goal of the
project is to introduce the teams to the design process and to allow each team to work through
any teamwork issues they may have. Another is to introduce them to the design process This
notebook assignment is open, but encourages each student to WRITE DOWN thoughts, notes,
etc. as the teams work through the design of their puzzle cube.
Deliverables:
 At least a page with notes on discussion, design thoughts, etc., AND a clear written outline of
the individual student’s responsibilities for Project 1 Puzzle Cube.
