Scientific Notation Notes
Scientific notation is simply a method for expressing and working with very large or very
small numbers in a ____________________. It is also used to indicate the relative

3. Plug your values into the scientific notation formula. 3.5356 x 104 = 35,356.
Notes about exponents:
Any number to the ___ power = ___, so if you do not move the decimal at all, then your
value for b would be 0. Example: 3.2 in scientific notation would be 3.2 x 100.
