01- Fraction
A friction is a part of a whole number.
2 – Numerator
4 – Denominator
= Full
=Half (½)
= Quarter (¼)
= Three fourth (¾)
Proper friction – A fraction in which the Numerator is smaller than the Denominator is called Proper
Fraction. Eg. 2/5, 6/10, 4/7.
Improper fraction – A fraction in which the Numerator is greater than the Denominator is called
Improper Fraction. Eg. 5/2, 7/5, 10/7.
Mixed fraction – A fraction in which a whole number and a proper fraction are written together.
