Aim: For individual children to complete decimal-based tasks.

Decimal/Fraction Chart (photocopiable sheet attached)
Task Sheet (photocopiable sheet attached)
Glue and a pencil for each child
A chocolate bar, a ruler, a plastic knife and a paper plate for each child
Set Up:
1. The teacher photocopies the attached Decimal/Fraction Chart, one for each child, and cuts
each completed chart into its 21 sections.
2. The teacher also photocopies a Task Sheet for each child.
3. The children sit at their desks, each with a Task Sheet, the 21 pieces of his/her chart, glue, a
pencil, a chocolate bar, a ruler, a plastic knife and a paper plate.

Start Playing:
1. The children begin working their way through their Task Sheets.
2. When a child has finished his/her Task Sheet, he/she can eat his/her chocolate.
