Innovation 2009, Friday December 4, 2009 - conclusions
14th anniversary of Innovation Award 2009
Final ceremony 14th annual competition, held at a meeting with innovative companies in the Meeting Hall of the
Senate of the Czech Republic, was attended by 75 participants - representants of companies of all these
innovative products, members of the board AIE CR, journalists and other guests.
Pavel Švejda, AIP CR Secretary General and President of Innovation Commission, welcomed the participants in
the historic premises of the Parliament Senate of the CR, introduced by Senator Adolf Jílka, member of the
Committee on National Economy, Agriculture and Transport, Jaroslav Dolezal, Vice-Chair of the Research,
Development and Innovation and Josef Kratochvil , President of the Industrial Property Office.
He invited the representatives to present innovative performance products, valued at the 14th annual Innovation
Award in 2009. Representatives of the award-winning innovative products introduced applied innovative
product:
Zdeněk Záliš, Software 602 a.s.
* Speaking intelligent electronic forms 602XML Filler with voice output
- informed about the development of "form" in the EUREKA project and expressed appreciation for organizing the
competition
Vladimír Veselý, Českomoravský gravel a.s.
* Floating platform from fibre concrete
- Explained the idea, preparation and production of hollow hexagonal element - platform

* TEKTA building system - the application did not meet the criteria of competition
Miroslav Štěrba - Miris
* Rotating nozzle using blaeless turbine
- Clarified the principle of rotating water jets presented on Novotného lávka CSVTS building and thank that private
persons can achieve innovation award
Pavla Macháčková, KNAUF INSULATION, spol. s r.o.
* New generation of glass mineral pool, produced with ECOSE ® TECHNOLOGY
- Introduced products with glass wool, protected by several worldwide patents - organic materials

- Wittily described the idea to the realization of the production process of solar system
Petr Kroča, JERID, spol. s r.o.
* RailMap - Digital Railway Map of Europe
- Introduced the research and development in the field of transport that is more interesting application successful
not only in the CR but also abroad

* Gantry type machining centre FPPC for accurate machining
- Introduced the creation of the company (in 1996), with the production program and registered a product,
emphasized the focus on Czech subcontractors if they meet the quality parameters.

* New geometry of metal drill CZ002 and CZ004 - The company was founded only in 2006, specializes in the
manufacturing of drills (stimulated to the innovation of the product was due to production bastard)

- Described the composition and advantages TriHyBusu "and hydrogen filling stations, the test operation of the

- Described the technological process of production of fuel pellets, stressed that even greater importance than the
production process is the recyclability of tires

Reform of R & D & I, the role of innovative firms
Jaroslav Dolezal, Council for Research, Development and Innovation
- Explained the necessity for reform of R & D & I - its flaws and fundamental principles, the national R & D policy
in the CR; financing system and methodology for the evaluation of R & D that should continue to meet the original
objectives and thanked all those who have demonstrated their ideas

Protection of Industrial Property
Josef Kratochvil, Industrial Property Office
- Thank for the invitation and stressed the purpose of the office - not only assist in the granting of patents, but also
make available information, raise funds and foster intellectual property, expressed delight that here have heard
excellent ideas and in advance congratulated the winners.
Within Discussion gradually spoke:
* Pavel Švejda, AIE CR: presented message of prof. Holý - possibility to show the products of mechanical
engineering
* Karel Šperlink, AIE CR: the problem of basic and applied research, the problem of financing - in 2012, will miss
the budget of 12 billion CZK
* Zdeněk Bittnar, CTU in Prague, Faculty of building: Innovation is also a question of employment, applied
research is a cooperation between industry and universities, the lack of flexibility - a flexible response to changes
in the world (environmental programs)
* Milan Press: Attention to the disastrous management system, criticized the university's law - a change in
management
* Stanislav Holý, ASI: in our evaluation of the academic research preferes publication, not realisation
* Petr Pilin, Software 602: attention to the 20-year anniversary of the development of the Czech separate
information system to today's awards and invited present people to point to our disabled citizens
* Anna Mittnerová, VŠCHT: I note the possibility of legislation to improve access to community programs (not
just FP7) - the question of financing (eg, here winning the hydrogen bus has problems with solutions cofinanced
within project)
Before transmitting the valuation reported Pavel Švejda to complete the conditions of 15th Innovation Award 2010
- a product introduced to the market in the last three years, the mandatory consultation of the complexity of the
application prepared up to 15th October 2010, the date of introduction on the market
Transmission Price Innovation Awards 2009
Thirteen awards of the Innovation Awards 2009 handed President AIE CR Karel Šperlink and members of the
Commission Innovation of the Year - Martin Štícha, MIT and Iveta Němečková, AIE CR.
Content of all winners will be published in the first issue of IP and TT magazíne in 2010,in two other isses of ip&
tt wil be published the innovative products of the second and third award, the results will be published on
www.aipcr.cz , too.

After a ceremony thank Pavel Švejda representatives of companies awarded a present and wished Merry
Christmas and a successful 2010 and invited them to an informal meeting at the reception.
After the ceremony was held a joint meeting with journalists.
