If you have it, please return it to the next meeting (clean and dry, of course). No questions asked! Sincere Thanks As Paula transitions her role of Committee Chair to JR Magee, we would like to thank her for her many years of dedicated service to troop 41. Luckily for us, she is continuing to be involved with Troop 41. Merit Badge Nights – let’s finish up! We will be having two remaining merit badge nights this year, as noted above. Any scouts with partials in any of their eagle required badges should plan on meeting with their counselors and determining what needs to be done to complete their badges. Scouts in First Aid will be working together to complete their requirements. Students who have completed their eagle-required badges can work on the music merit badge, or there may be other options available. At the end of the merit badge meeting in April, partials will be collected from the merit badge counselors and turned over to the scout for completion. Troop Information Sheets Training – we all could use some! All adults that are planning to attend the Yarmouth canoe/kayak trip and/or the Nantucket bike trip need to be trained in safe swim defense and safety afloat. If you go to the following link you will access the online training. You will need (as explained below) register to do the training. The training we are targeting for each parent is: · Boy Scout Leader Fast start · Safe swim defense · Safety Afloat · Youth Protection th At the December 10 meeting, or mailed shortly afterward, each family should have received a troop information sheet for each scout in the family, along with their dues request. If you haven’t already done so, and still have your sheet, please return it. We will be trying to collect that missing data in order to get our troop database up to date.
