in chronic diseases which needs long term treatment , that required good communications

Job description :

Worked in the inpatient pharmacy dispensing medications related to heart diseases,
hypertension, diabetes and narcotics. Monitoring inpatients given medication for heart failure,
angina ,thrombotic disorders & their related complications , adjusting the dose according to
patient’s condition , link unexplainable side effects to drugs given and possible interactions.

Worked for two months in Ibn sina hospital (GIT bleeding centre) and worked for two months
in the Ministry of health in an awareness health campaign for primary schools, also registering
pharmacies and inspecting violations committed by pharmacists and boutique owners in
dispensing illegal medications and abuse of steroids .


Worked as a Trainee at Yashfeen Pharmacy, Khartoum – Sudan.
SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCES:

Attended the 25th scientific conference of Arab Pharmacists Union, held from 10th – 12th Dec. 2005,
at Friendship Hall, Over 20 different research topics and talks were included in the conference and
were presented by eminent researchers from various universities and research institutes in UK,
Australia, India, Syria, South Africa, UAE, Egypt and Sudan, Khartoum – Sudan.

Participated at the 6th Annual International conference (Pharmaceutical Care: Putting the Patient
first), with my under-graduation research (Pharmacy as priority in health seeking behavior)
Khartoum – Sudan 2010. The research showed an interesting turnout of pharmacists and professors
attended.

Attended and actively participated in two-days workshops on:
- Therapeutic drug Monitoring and Drug Handling in Renal Diseases , and safe prescription, held at
the UMST on the 21st and 22nd of Feb. 2010, Khartoum – Sudan.

Participated at the Arab Pharmacists Union Day, 2nd Apr. 2011, Friendship Conference Hall,
Khartoum – Sudan.

Attended the Qatar Foundation Research Forum 2012 , at QNCC on 21 – 23 October 2012 ,
Doha – Qatar.
