The purpose of the data collected in this spreadsheet is for grade calculation. This
spreadsheet allows for an easier way to calculate grades, detect trends and account for
late assignments. This spreadsheet compiled grades by category for Language Arts. Also,
the spreadsheet allows for you to account for the date you received the assignment
completed. I notated a deduction of points in the date-received category when necessary.
Lastly, this spreadsheet calculates a total grade for Language Arts. As you can see in
graph below, the student has lower scores in the homework category. It appears that in
the date received category the student has been turning assignments in late. This
spreadsheet is not only beneficial for a teacher but can be a great tool for students.
