(A) Revision of technical requirements on a basis of accident case etc.
1. Smoke and ignition accident measures to printed wiring boards;
2. Smoke and ignition accident measures to soldering part of appliance inlet (Entry of power
supply connector);
3. Ignition accident measures to internal wiring breakage in the automatic oscillating electric
room heaters;
4. Smoke and ignition accident measures to copper-iron ballasts of luminaries;
5. Smoke and ignition accident measures to capacitor for electric equipment used for airconditioners, washing machines, and refrigerators and freezers;
6. Smoke and ignition accident measures to plugs with not sufficient tracking proof index of
refrigerators and freezers;
7. Finger losing accident measures to the dewatering bin of electric washing machine;
8. Burnout accident measures to dryers for bathrooms;

9. Burnout accident measures to diodes for input control of electric room heaters (halogen
heaters);
10. Control measures to VOC emission from electric room heaters;

(B) Accommodation of new technology
1. Adoption of test method that considers the actual conditions for use of heaters with outdoor
camera protecting from condensation and freezing;
2. Adoption of test method that considers the characteristic for the magnet-type appliance
couplers.
(C) Alignment of the technical criteria to the latest JIS
1. The electric wire tube (material, the strength test etc.)
