英文作文採分項式評分（analytic scoring），分項得分加總之後，給予
一個整體分數（holistic score），再依總分1至20分，分為下述五等級：特
優（19～20分）、優（15～18分）、可（10～14分）、差（5～9分）、劣
（0～4分）。評分主要依據為考生的作答內容，閱卷委員仔細評估其內容
是否切題、組織是否具連貫性、句子結構與用字是否妥適表達文意，以及
拼字與標點符號是否使用正確等。為確保評分之一致性，閱卷委員在試閱
時皆必須完全熟悉及理解各分項的評分標準。分項式評分指標包含下列5
項：內容（5分）、組織（5分）、文法句構（4分）、字彙拼字（4分），
及體例（2分）。字數嚴重不足，扣總分1分；多寫，不扣分。若考生未按
規定使用英文名字，扣總分1分；書信格式使用不當（如未書寫稱呼語及

級分計算方式如下：
1.級距：以各科到考考生，計算其原始得分前百分之一考生（取整數，小數無條件進位）的
平均原始得分，再除以15，並取至小數第二位，第三位四捨五入。
2.本測驗之成績採級分制，原始得分0分為0級分，最高為15級分，缺考以0級分計。各級分
與原始得分、級距之計算方式詳見簡章第9~10頁。
