Airport pickup/drop off fees are applicable and are as follows:
Saskatoon Airport: $35
A stud fee of $1,000 is payable at the time of stud service and/or puppy back ________pick of
litter: dog or bitch by choice of stud owner.
This contract guarantees the actual mating of the listed dogs only, and not of pregnancy or
puppies. No fee will be refunded should the bitch fail to whelp. Two (2) live puppies at six (6)
weeks constitutes a litter. If the bitch fails to conceive, a return service at no charge will be given
to this bitch provided the owner of the bitch notifies us within seven (7) days after the projected
whelping date that no litter has whelped. If the bitch fails to conceive on the return service, this
contract is terminated. Stud owner will furnish a three (3) generation pedigree. Litter
registration application will be signed only after full payment of all fees due and/or possession of
pick puppy from the litter. There is no charge for boarding the bitch for the first ten (10) days after this period, charge will be $10/day.
The bitch must be approved by the owner of the stud dog before being accepted for breeding. A
3 generation pedigree and recent (within 1 year) CERF form indicating the bitch's eyes are
"normal" will be furnished to the stud dog owner prior to any breeding taking place, and this
contract must be signed and returned by all parties prior to the breeding taking place.
The best possible care & handling of the bitch will be provided, but responsibility cannot be
accepted for any unforeseen accident or should misfortune befall your bitch.
The bitch must be in good health & condition at the time of breeding and must be free of
hereditary defects. The bitch must have a Championship title in any country, or a good reason
why she couldn't complete a title (i.e. broken leg that did not heal properly).
Natural breedings will be offered where the bitch is willing; however AI's will be employed if
necessary unless instructed to the contrary by the bitch owner. If the bitch is unwilling all fees
incurred will be the responsibility of the owners of the bitch.
If FRESH CHILLED or FROZEN semen is to be used in place of a natural breeding the owners of
the bitch agree to make any pre-arrangements for all veterinarians who will oversee this
procedure including method of shipment & delivery of semen. Owner(s) of the bitch are
responsible for all charges incurred by the veterinarian of the owner of the stud dog and all
shipping charges upon receipt of itemized statement.
Should it be decided that a puppy from the specific litter is to be returned to the stud dog owner
in lieu of a stud fee, it will be agreed upon in writing prior to the mating. Should this occur, the
owner of the stud dog reserves the option to use their choice of registered name when registering
the return puppy, and the puppy will be owned by the owners of the stud dog outright with no
co-ownerships or puppies-back terms with the owner of the bitch.
THESE SIGNATURES CONSTITUTE AGREEMENT OF THIS STUD SEVICE CONTRACT IN its
ENTIRETY.
