Introduction
Micellar electrokinetic chromatography (MEKC), firstly introduced by Terabe et al. [1],
is amongst the electrokinetic chromatographic (EKC) techniques [2, 3], the most known
and applied. In this approach, micelles often from ionic surfactants (e.g. sodium dodecyl
sulfate; SDS) are used as a chromatographically active constituent (“pseudostationary
phase”) of the background electrolyte (BGE)…….
Physical-Chemical characterization of SDS-CD systems by CE measurements
In the present study the CMC of the ionic surfactant SDS has been conveniently
determined following a validated procedure with CE instrumentation……
