ANCESTRAL QUEST DEMONSTRATION Page 1 This is one of several programs available in Family History Centers that are certified to work with newFamilySearch. Previously we demonstrated Family Insight. Future demonstrations will be given for Legacy and Roots Magic. Ancestral Quest is a commercial program for entering and maintaining genealogical data in a family linked database. It is produced by Inclined Software (www.ancquest.com). In the early 1990’s, the program was given to the church from which PAF 4.0 was produced. Ancestral Quest and PAF have the same look and feel. Since the time that Incline Software gave the program to the church, Ancestral Quest has added many enhancements beyond what is in PAF 5.2. This document will focus on a few of these enhancements: additional features in source citations, ToDo’s, Research Log, and synchronization with newFamilySearch. I.
