1989 TO 1999 - DANIEL MAHER STAINED GLASS, SOMERVILLE, MA, DESIGNER AND ASSOCIATE
Involved in all aspects of the business from its inception in 1989. Worked collaboratively with architects,
interior designers and building contractors on new work commissions and restoration projects both locally
and nationally.
Creative and Administrative responsibilities included:
Custom design, glass painting, fabrication,
installation, project documentation, sales, marketing and business development, operations and project
management, budgeting, scheduling, and employee training.
JUNE 2001 TO FEBRUARY 2002 - LOUIS NELSON ASSOCIATES, NEW YORK, NY, PROJECT MANAGER
Project management of AirTrain sign and information program at JFK’s International Airport with the Port
Authority of NY and NJ. Responsible for tracking budget, schedule, deliverables and change orders,
preparing invoices, recording and distributing internal and external meeting notes, coordination with
architects and maintaining project documentation.

Assisted in all areas pertaining to the operations of the school including workshop orientation, gallery and
slide presentations, office administration, retail and inventory management in school store and studio and
facilities maintenance.
JUNE 2000 TO FEBRUARY 2001 - MARCHFIRST, NEW YORK, NY, PROJECT MANAGER
Project management of back-end to front-end development of websites, most notably for Audi Motors.
Coordinated internal and external meetings, created internal and external status reports, updated project
schedule, tracked budget and change management, organized and maintained project assets and
documentation. Additional: Created an initiative for employee training and education.

MARCH 2003 - HOLDERNESS SCHOOL “ARTWARD BOUND”
A two week workshop for freshmen and sophomores, introducing techniques and design.
1998 TO 1999 - WIRE WORK
Assistant teacher - Continuing workshops in wire working through Massachusetts College of Art and
Haystack Mountain School of Craft.

1988 - BEGINNING STAINED GLASS
Course involved a history of stained glass with instructions in design, materials and fabrication. Students
each designed and fabricated their own stained glass panel.
