and Health in Africa (H3Africa)
initiative.

To support multi-project research
programs that address the goals of
H3Africa and that involve two or
more collaborations with
investigators from outside the
applicant institution.
4.Research Objectives
To support cutting-edge
genomics/genetics research on
health and diseases important in
Africa,
To increase the human resources for
conducting cutting-edge genomicsbased research in Africa, and
To improve specific types of
infrastructure, i.e., bioinformatics
and biorepository capacity, which are
needed to do genomics-based and
environmental research.
