A) At Supreme (Fuels), Kandahar Air Field – Handling the Maintenance works in the fuel Department of the company, which includes,
1 Performing the calibration activities of positive displacement meters, digital & analytical meters, truck calibration, calibration of tanks & calibration of master meters using prover tanks etc.
2 Strapping and maintenance work for VAREC systems.
3 Calibration and maintenance of SMART FUEL trucks.
4 Performing calibration as per approved standards and generation of quality reports, good understanding of various metering and measuring equipments.
5 Coordinate with outside vendors to schedule calibration on sight and externally.
6 Performs preventative and corrective maintenance of test apparatus and peripheral equipment, analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot.
7 Disassembles and reassembles instruments and equipment, using hand tools, and inspects instruments and equipment for defects. c
) At Essar engineers – Handling the routine Maintenance works in the industry, which includes,
1 Calibration & Maintenance of all types of Field Instruments, Preventive & shut down Maintenance of the plant.
2 Working continuously with shutdown jobs under a particular task, Involved in
Trouble shooting activities in both field & Control room side.
3 Maintenance of Field instruments, control valves, Pressure, Level, Temperature &
Flow Transmitters etc.
2) Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning
B) At Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) – Handling the Pre-
Commissioning & Commissioning activities at Utility Units (Captive Power Plant,
Nitrogen plant & De mineralization Plant) SRU (sulfur recovery unit) CDU (crude

distillation unit) of Phase- III refinery which includes,
8 Loop Checking of Field Instruments like AI, AO, DI, DO Signal between Field & DCS,
Logic Checking for ESD Loops, DCS Monitoring and verifying Loop drawings etc.
9 Loop checking & Commissioning of various field instruments like Pressure, Level,
Temperature & Flow Transmitters, Control Valves, Field manual reset switches,
Motor operated valves, Vibration elements, RTD & Thermocouples, Multipoint temperature Transmitters, Mass flow meters, pH meters etc.
10 Servicing of pneumatic actuators, Control valves, Pressure reducing valves & pressure switches, Erection & commissioning of control Systems, Overhauling & calibration of instruments.
11 Servicing ,installation and loop checking electrical and instrumentation for motor operated valves (MOV)
12 Panel wiring for PLC systems, Boiler & compressors, Involved in Trouble shooting activities of both Foundation Field bus & SMART instruments in field.
