You will be assigned one of the topics below. Your task is to create a visual digital display on your
assigned topic that compares the 1960s to today. To prepare your displays, you should do research by
following, though not necessarily limiting your work to, these guiding questions and tasks:
CHOICE 1: MUSIC
-What were the top ten songs in 1967?
-Find the lyrics to each of these songs. What were these songs about?
-What were the demographics of the bands and singers of these popular songs (gender, race, age, etc.)?

CHOICE SEVEN: POLITICS
-List five of the most important political issues from the 1960s.
-Write a paragraph for each of these issues that includes different sides of the issue.

After research is complete, you should create your visual digital display using all available resources,
including power point, word, publisher, etc. Your display should include the answers to all of the
questions that you just researched as well as creative components as relevant to your topic, such as
drawings, lists, charts, collages, video or music clips, etc. The display will be played for the class, so
some sort of automation would be an enhancement over manual advancement of the display.
