NJCAA WRESTLING COACHES ASSOCIATION HALL OF FAME QUALIFICIATIONS:
1.
Coach
A.
Must have coached at two year college level.
B.
Must have been Head Coach.
C.
Must have coached a minimum of 10 years.
2.
Wrestler
A
Must have been two year college wrestler.
B.
Must be out of two year college wrestling for at least 10 years.
3.
Contributor
A.
Contribution must have been to two year college wrestling.
B.
Must have contributed more than 5 years.
Possible supplemental evaluation questions:
1.
Has he made an impact on the sport of wrestling?
2.
Do his achievements stand out far above the crowd?
3.
Has he, in some way, contributed to the betterment of wrestling?
Criteria for induction:
1.
Candidate’s name and information must be submitted on the proper nomination form with a picture.
2.
The candidate’s nomination will be active for 4 years. After which he must receive a minimum of 50% of
the votes to remain on the active list.
3.
If the 50% vote is not achieved, the candidates forms will be put into the dead file.
4.
A candidate’s file may be reactivated from the dead file may be reactivated from the dead file by an
updating of the candidate’s credentials.
5.
Upon reactivation, a candidate become eligible for induction with the required number of votes and must
maintain the minimum 50% vote to remain on the ballot, otherwise, this form will be returned to the dead
file.
