No time to waste at this time of the year as it will soon be dark.
Headed south for Cruachan reservoir but somehow diverted south-east.
Decided to persist in that direction and picked up a land rover track just as it started to
get quite dark. Came out on the road at Loch Awe at about 7:30pm and walked west
about 1km to a fishing pub.Garry then started walking for the car and luckily got on
the Oban bus. He picked us up at the pub at 8:40pm.The two of us drove up to Kintail
arriving about midnight.
