Transmission Requests This section describes the format of the upload files for Transmission Requests (herinafter referred to as “DA”). The section 1.3.1 about extension file has been modified. The comments and samples of the description section have been completed since the draft version of this guide. 1. DEFINITION Shippers subscribe Capacity on the Main Network and on the Regional Network, in order to carry natural gas. Such Contractual Capacity materialises in the form of “effective” Operational Capacity, which reflects the maximum actual usage levels of the Contractual Capacity held by the Shippers. This Operational Capacity is then used to carry gas via a procedure of transmission requests, which are partly turned into Nominations. A transmission request entails: • a contract, • a gas day, • a PCR [Network Contractual Point], • a flow direction, • a counterparty. 2. UPLOAD SCREEN It is to be found in the upper part of the “Sélection du périmètre du lot” [Batch Perimeter Selection] screen, accessible from the Operations/Nomination/Creation menu of the TRANS@ction portal.
