Workshop Background
We are delighted to have secured the services of Professor Martin Severs for our October Faculty Masterclass.
Professor Severs is one of the UK’s leading authorities on Data Standards and the impact that they can have on a Patient’s experience and to support the planning, delivery and assessment of the impact of healthcare across the full range of healthcare providers that patient’s come into contact with.
His interest in information standards has been ongoing for 12 years and is, in his words, ‘still growing’. His particular interest stems from their need to demonstrate utility in terms of interoperability at the technical, organisational and professional level. Martin ’s role within the NHS Information Standards Board [ISB] is part of the process whereby these different requirements are balanced. The Information Standards Board is an advisory
