6. Scale of the construction of the project:
Main hall: refers to the buildings which holds the huge jade ore body , 30 m in
height ,with an area of 4200m2,the building will be an imitation of ancient palace
Middle hall and the front hall: refers to the constitution of huge jade ore body area
palaces ,25 m in height, building area 2000 m2.
Arch over the gateway: refers to the arch of the huge jade ore body group palaces 200
m in length,15 m in width, 12 m in height. It will be built in the form of city wall ,in the
middle, there will be an imitation of ancient attic of 10 m high, 10m wide and 50 m long
which are to be matched with the group palaces. Inside the arch of the gateway there will
be arranged all kinds of service and office spot, the gate will also be an imitation of
ancient ones.
Long corridors of both sides: refers to the imitation of the ancient corridor ,which is
450m long ,5 m wide and 3 m high ,extending from the arch of the gateway to the north
wall of the huge jade ore body alongside the group palaces matching with it.
Sculptures and frescoes in front hall, middle hall , inside and outside the long
corridors: refers to the various kinds of sculptures and frescoes .The body of the
sculptures are made of Xiuyan jade marble and granite, etc. local special materials.
Square in the middle of the halls: refers to the squares in straight front of all the halls are
paved by long pieces of granites .
Decorated archway leading to the mountain : at the entrance to the valley of the Jade
village, a decorated archway ,18 m high,30 m wide, will be built as a signal buildings and
the administrative department of the scenic spot entrance .It will be an imitation of
ancient structure.
Exhibition hall: refers to the buildings inside the huge jade ore body spot, being used for
showing the culture and history of Man nationality in Xiuyan area, the local products and
agricultural by-products of this area.
Jade products hall: refers to the buildings within the huge jade ore body scenic spot
which is used for selling various jade sculptures craft articles.
Three-star level hotel: refers to the high quality hotel to be built in the huge jade ore
body scenic spot, with an area of 5000m2,equipped with restaurant,
accommodation ,shopping mall ,entertainment and various service facilities.

Water park: In the west of Liujiapu villagers team of Yushi village ,a reservoir will be built by
using the local strange- shaped mountain and water resource so a water park with an area
of 30000m2
will be constructed, providing the service items of
boating ,swimming ,fishing ,gymnasium ,roller-skating and children’s playground ,etc. In
winter, the service items of ice lantern show will be arranged.
Helicopter parking apron : A helicopter parking apron with an area of 2000m2 will be
built at the entrance to Yushi village in the north of Dalian to Xiuyan highway.
Guotang spring water holiday-making village: In Guotang spring water area, a
holiday-making village which includes 40 two-floored buildings ,each with an area of
150m2 ,will be built ,there will be 240 guestrooms providing home-stay services to the
tourists.
Guotang tourism service center: In Guotang spring area, a service center of 2000m2will be built
to provide the tourists and customers of the holiday-making village with shopping and food services.
Hadabei jade craft articles street: in Hadabei village, a 1000m long jade products processing
and selling market will be built , which can satisfy the shopping demand of the tourists and also fully
use the local large numbers of jade craftsmen, let the tourists see the whole course of jade articles
processing and have their curiosity satisfied.
7. Market forecast
Xiuyan county enjoys the fame home and abroad “Hometown of jade” and the
origin of “King of jade” .In July 22nd,1960, “King of jade” was discovered in Yushi village
of Hadabei town .It is 7.95 m long, 6.88 m wide, 4.1 m high, and in an irregular shape, its
top is like a roof ,it is called “King of jade” due to its immense size. In 1984, after the
accurate calculation done by the measuring and survey research institute of Liaoning
province ,it weighed 260.76 tons ,which was 3 times heavier than the world famous “king
of jade” in Burma at the time ,it was the largest jade stone in the world at the time. The
state leader of the country at the time Zhou Enlai and Li Xiannian had instructed that it be
properly protected. Later, the government of Anshan city invested a great deal of capital to
deliver the “king of jade” to Anshan--- Steel Capital in 1992.It was later sculptured by 120
craftsmen from Xiuyan into a singular Jade Buddha in the world. On the front side is a
figure of Sakyyamuni Buddha ,the back is Guanyin Bodhisattva of the south China sea .
Anshan Jade Buddha Temple was formally open to the tourists in August ,1997,foreign
and home tourists visited the temple in streams, the Jade Buddha was identified by the
Great World of Shanghai and collected in the Guiness World Record in November of the
year.
In 1996, 8 m under the depth of discovering “king of jade” , another huge jade ore
body was discovered .The huge jade ore body is 25 m in height, the maximum diameter is
30 m ,the total estimated weight is 60,000t. It is listed top in the world today and has been
received much attention from the leaders of the city and province .It is called the
state-rank treasure and has reported to the government of the state for a file.
Jade is a kind of rare mineral and has a great value of sculpture and appreciation .It is
the symbol of sagacity and happiness. This project takes the singular Xiuyan huge jade ore
body as a trump card, comprehensively develop ,overall design, properly arrange ,fully
utilize the advantages of the local various resources, to create a regional tourism belt
which is rare in the world, the tourism will find a ready market .It can create both better

economic and social benefit.
