Regarding Oil and Latex Paint and Paint Products:

Small quantities of latex paint can be safely disposed of in household refuse by letting it air dry in
a safe place, OR mixing an absorbent material, such as kitty litter or speedy-dri to absorb the liquid
portion of the paint. Once the latex paint is solid, it can be safely disposed of in the trash. Notify
your trash hauler if you will be disposing of dried paint in this manner.

Up to 10 gallons of oil and latex paints and paint thinners can be brought to the transfer
station any Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday 8AM- 2PM starting May 5, 2009 thru September
17, 2009.
♦
Quantities over 10 gallons will be accepted by appointment: please call 259-3050 X-0

