University Liaison Visitor Agenda and Report
The University Liaison visit is an opportunity for you to meet the student and field educator and
agree on the student’s progress toward successfully completing the placement subject.
The following document is both the Report and the Agenda. The liaison visit needs to be
undertaken week 7 which is mid way through the students placement. The report needs to be
completed both during and after the visit. The report is to be submitted to the Manager of Field
Education, at the University within 1 week following the liaison visit.

STEP 1:
INITIAL
PHONE CALL WEEK 3
University liaison person needs to contact the student and introduce themselves and their role preferably
via phone or alternatively via e-mail. You may also cc the supervisor to make them aware of your role.

STEP 2: THE UNIVERSITY LIAISON VISIT

the student’s anxiety.

6. Student Mid – Placement Presentation
The student is required to make a 30 minute (maximum) oral presentation and should address the
requirements listed in the first column. The University liaison person is required to document progress
against each requirement in the 2nd column and assess whether the student’s progress is satisfactory.
