Established 1845 as a Protestant burial ground; extent, ½ acre, This cemetery is the property of the Gilboa Methodist Episcopal Church, given by Boggess family. No restrictions as to type and placing of markers; fenced; no landscaping; condition fair. Lots marked by corner stones; graves marked by monuments; no burial records kept; still used as a burial ground. Earliest stone dated 1847. Four Civil War veterans buried here.
