DISTRIBUTION OF WORK FOR SCHOOL MANAGEMENT On the APSACS developed forms For all tiers of school dedicated Job Description Handbooks have been developed which must be studied by the concerned person. However, the Principal & Section Head must study all the Job Description Handbooks to have an in-depth understanding of work expectations of people working in the school. Division of Workload Record keeping is vital for effective management: For APSACS standardized record keeping formats/registers have been developed. Workload has been rationally distributed between every tier of the System. Training to mange time and resources intelligently is given. Regional Coordinator Understanding and disseminating of all policy matters, procedures and documents to the schools in his/her region Prompt dissemination of academic materials Periodical visits of the schools Technical appraisals of the Principals Carry out School Evaluations Syllabus Completion Reports Examination Follow ups Open line of communication with the APSACS Principal Awareness of APSACS Policies and Procedures and their implementation Develop healthy culture and academic excellence in school Strong administrative communication through Staff meetings Section Head / Teacher Appraisals Self – evaluations of school & prepare SIPs Class Observations Note books//Workbooks checking Planner counter checking periodically Spot / checking of various registers / documents / school facilities Ensure syllabus completion of all subjects and classes and prepare Syllabus Completion Reports Conduct , monitor Bimonthly Assessments, term examination and prepare Examination Follow-ups Active involvement in School Values Education Program Active involvement and awareness of Sport of the Year Program Healthy communication with the Parents /guardians Take some periods (at least one per section per week) depending on school strength & administrative commitment to feel the pulse of teaching and learning standard of the school. Ensure timely availability of resource materials such as a map, globe, plants, A/V aids etc are made available to the teachers in time for their classes. Ensure availability of science lab when required. Provide facilitation for project work.
