Senses Presentations AP Psychology TOPICS INCLUDE: Vision Hearing Touch Taste Smell Kinesthesis PROJECT: The objective of this project is to present a product that will ensure the general knowledge of one of the six senses. Your group will give a presentation that will include the following components: 1. Present TWO visual-informational aids (one digital; one physical) (ex: ppt/prezi/video clip & a poster or brochure) (you may have more than two) 2. Define & Explain the vocabulary and anatomy of your topic in your presentation 3. Give at least TWO demonstrations, activities, or experiments relating to your topic 4. Create a practice quiz about the content to give to the class 5. A presentation that is at least 15 minutes in length – (well organized, detailed content, good style) Everyone must have a part in the presentation. Each of the five components is worth 10 points. The project is worth 50 points. It will be included in your “Assignment” grade. Inadequate understanding of some of all concepts of the sense demonstrated in the presentation. Activity or demonstration was somewhat thoughtout and inadequately demonstrated the concept intended. Handout & visual aide were somewhat thought-out and did not contribute to an understanding of required content. The presentation demonstrated that the group worked together with all members contributing some work, although the amount and quality was unequal. Communication & coordination of the group suggested a lack of planning. Some required information on the sense is included or there are more than 2 inaccuracies. Seriously inadequate understanding of some or all of all concepts of the sense demonstrated in the presentation. Activity or demonstration was not thought-out and did not demonstrate the concept intended. Handout & visual aide were not thought-out and hindered understanding of required content. The presentation demonstrated that the group did not work well together and the presentation appeared to be the work of only some students in the group.
