Course description
Examining texts by British, Irish, American
immigrant, Native American, Maori, Nigerian and
Australian authors produced in the last decades of the
twentieth century, this course introduces the students
to the variety and multiethnic perspectives of
contemporary writing in English, the paramount
tenets of postmodern poetics, as well as the thematic
and theoretical dominants of the post-colonial studies.
The course also aims at advancing the students'
expository writing skills.
